PATTERN STAMPED Technique: Pattern stamped decoration is accomplished by using a special stamp, roller, or sponge which has a design cut into it. This is pressed onto the soft body of a clay piece and the design emerges in low relief. This type of work generally results in an impressed motif of a repeated pattern. These are found with Green JVP 47, M in Wreath, as well as a few lesser-known marks, like JVP 59.
