Over a span of only 30 years – 1891 to 1921, the Nippon era – saw a plethora of techniques, designs, molds, and innovations that were on the leading edge in their time. It is so unfortunate that we do not know all that we would like to know about techniques. Both the INCC and our Japanese counterparts – to whom we owe so very much (Dr Yoshie Itani, Mr. Kimura and Mr. Aoi, Aki Oga Kato, Mr. Morikawa, and so many more), have done their best to find out as much as possible. All continue studying and updates will be included when available.
