Okay, MEMBERS, we are all disappointed that there can be no in-person convention AGAIN this summer! It was an extremely difficult decision for the board to cancel this convention as all had hoped that we would be able to meet. The board considers all of you in evaluating if this could have been held safely, comfortably, and confidently and that evaluation led the board to decide it could not.

Linda, as our president, and Joe, as well as others are planning to put on a Facebook event as the banners convey. I encourage you to join Facebook if you are not already a member so that you can participate in the upcoming events to celebrate the 40 wonderful years of the INCC and meet the MANY people who have come to the page to meet fellow collectors. You will find information there about the events scheduled. It is also a good place to sell some Nippon. You will be able to reconnect with many old friends there, as well!! If you need help with joining, please reach out to Linda, Joe or your friends that you know participate in the page.

What a debt of gratitude we owe Joan and the founding members and ALL those who have served and participated through the years to keep this club going. It may not be an in-person event but it takes a great deal of work to present this Facebook event - hats off to Linda as our president and to all who are working to bring this event to you. This is a remarkable organization - let's be the "family" we are and support our Facebook celebration for the INCC's 40 FABULOUS YEARS!

MEMBERS, time for summer reading! The fun part of reading copies of all the old publications is that we see pictures of members and so many memories flood back. AND, MEMBERS, new for YOU - two new categories have been created - The INCC News and the INCC Newsletters. You will find these on the "Member Tools." page. The INCC Newspapers go all the way back to 1982 - these issues are packed with pictures of old friends and great reminders of those early days of collecting Nippon. COVID won't keep us apart forever! In the meantime, go to "Member Tools." and start reading.

Just posted to the website is the newest journal - the 2021 Summer INCC E-Journal also found, as you know, in "Member Tools." Our very talented Linda Lau has produced yet another beautifully, informative journal. What would we do without her? Please consider reaching out to her to see if she needs an article written. I know she would appreciate any contributions.

Also, in Member Tools, remember that we posted an up to date 2021 Member Directory (contents only for members). Think about reaching out to someone and say "hi." We all love to get a card in the mail and what a great way to stay in touch. Again, we caution you to remember, we provide this information for you to stay in touch with one another - do not share the directory outside of the membership!
